1. Introduction

Welcome to By Velorbis. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all purchases and use of our website and online store. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or make a purchase.

2. Company Information

Urbanites Copenhagen ApS operates the online store By Velorbis, offering premium bags, leather goods, and accessories.
We are registered in Denmark under VAT number DK44126788.

3. Ordering

When you place an order on our website, you make an offer to purchase one or more products.
A binding agreement is entered only when you receive an order confirmation email from us.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders in cases such as stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
If your order is cancelled, we will refund any payment received.

Products are sold for personal use only and not for resale.

4. Prices and Taxes

All prices shown are in Danish Kroner (DKK) or Euros (EUR), depending on your selected region, and include Danish VAT (Value Added Tax) unless otherwise stated.

Shipping costs and any applicable customs duties are shown clearly at checkout before you confirm your order.
We reserve the right to adjust prices, discounts, and offers at any time without prior notice.

5. Payment

You can securely pay with:

  • VISA

  • MasterCard

  • MobilePay (for Danish Kroner (DKK) only)

  • Bank transfer (for business customers only)

We do not charge card fees.

When payment is taken:
For card payments, your card may be authorised or have funds reserved when the order is placed.
The final payment is only captured once your order is shipped.
For bank transfers, payment must be received before dispatch.

Please note: Bank transfers are not covered by the chargeback scheme.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are typically dispatched within 2–5 business days from Denmark.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Within Europe: 5–8 working days (DSV or similar carrier)

  • Outside Europe: delivery time depends on customs and destination

If an item is out of stock or made to order, the estimated delivery time will be displayed on the product page.

Delivery dates are indicative. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control, but we will do our best to assist if such issues occur.

Risk transfer:
The risk of loss passes to you when you (or a person designated by you) take physical possession of the goods, in accordance with EU consumer law.

7. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

If you purchase as a consumer within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the date you (or your representative) receive your goods.

To exercise your right, you must notify us within 14 days by sending an email to info@velorbis.com, stating your order number, name, and the items you wish to return.

You may use the standard withdrawal form found in Appendix A below, but it is not mandatory.

You cannot cancel your purchase simply by refusing delivery without informing us.

8. Returns and Refunds

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you have 14 days to return the goods.
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
We recommend using the original packaging and a tracked service.

Returns can also be delivered in person by appointment.

If the product has been handled beyond what is necessary to determine its nature and function, we may reduce the refund to reflect the diminished value.

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of your notice of withdrawal.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or documentation showing they were returned.

Delivery costs are refunded only for full order cancellations and only up to the cost of our standard delivery option.

9. Warranty and Complaints

All products come with a 24-month legal warranty under Danish and EU consumer law.
This covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g. scratches, fading, scuffs)

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents

  • Modifications or repairs made by unauthorised parties

If you believe your item is defective, please contact us by email with your order number, description, and photos.
If accepted, we will repair or replace the item free of charge.

Warranty returns should be sent to the same address as above.

10. Business (B2B) Purchases

For business or wholesale orders:

  • Goods must be inspected immediately upon receipt.

  • The right of withdrawal does not apply.

  • Complaints about defects must be made immediately upon discovery and no later than 12 months from delivery.

11. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, images, text, and content on this site are the property of Velorbis or our licensors.
You may not reproduce or distribute any material without our written consent.

12. Privacy

Your personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

13. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages caused by the use or inability to use our website or products, except where required by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.
The latest version will always be available on this page, with the updated date shown above.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Danish law.
If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you may bring legal proceedings in your country of residence or in Denmark.
For business customers, disputes shall be settled by the Danish courts.
